Residential Youth Care Services

Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP)

The Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) facility provides unique services for male children ages 12 to 16 with severe traumatic experiences and emotional or behavioral disorders, including Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Conduct Disorder (CD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). UYH also serves the needs of all Arizona children and youth in need of their care and services. With a residential facility of 5 beds and a 1:5 staff-to-child ratio, UYH provides 24/7 nursing services and tailored clinical services, including behavioral and trauma-focused therapy. UYH emphasizes family-centered practices and provides interventions in education, aiming to address the developmental, physical, emotional, social, educational, and spiritual needs of their clients. UYH's goal is to equip children with skills and thought patterns that will result in positive interactions in group, family, educational, community, and global societal settings.
